Here's the night
Join us September 15th as we celebrate one year of Gather with Lauren with a night of mahjong, good food, and gathering together.
We’ll have mahjong tables set and ready to play, with players grouped by experience level so everyone can settle in and enjoy the night. Come with your regular mahjong girls or come on your own, we’ll find you a table.
And because it wouldn’t be a Gather with Lauren night without all the little details, your ticket includes fun specialty mocktails, a beautiful spread of appetizers and desserts, curated swag from some of our favorite brands, giveaways throughout the evening, and a few surprises we’re saving for the night.
More than anything, we want this to be a really fun excuse to get out, gather together, play some mahjong, and celebrate an incredible first year of Gather with Lauren.
A quick note about mahjong
This is a play night, not a learn-to-play event. You don’t need to be an expert, but you should come with a basic understanding of how to play mahjong. We’ll group players by experience level so you can play with women at a similar skill level.

Before you come
Yes! This is a mahjong play night, not a learn-to-play event, so you’ll want to come with a basic understanding of the game. You definitely don’t need to be an expert—we’ll group tables by experience level so everyone can settle in and have fun.
Absolutely. In fact, we hope you do! Come with five friends, one friend, or completely on your own. A huge part of this night is meeting new people, pulling up a chair, and gathering together.
Nope! We’ll have the tables set and everything you need to play ready for you. Just come ready for a really fun night.
Your $55 ticket includes an evening of mahjong, specialty mocktails, appetizers + desserts, curated swag from some of my favorite brands, giveaways, prizes, and a few fun surprises throughout the night.
Yes! We’ll do our best to seat you with the people you came with while also grouping tables by experience level. We’ll share more details about seating as we get closer to the event.
We’re capping this first Gather with Lauren event at 70 seats. Once all 70 are taken, ticket sales close and there’s no waitlist. If you know you want to come, I wouldn’t wait to grab your seat.
